Hunting

Moose, sheep, goats, caribou and bears across some of the wildest country left.

Fly-in Wilderness

Getting around

Most of Alaska has no roads

Only a small network of highways links Anchorage, Fairbanks and the Kenai. Everywhere else, Alaskans travel the way they always have: by bush plane and floatplane, on the Alaska Marine Highway ferries, and along the Alaska Railroad.

How travel works here

Alaska is bigger than you think. Start with a region.
